Physiotherapy in action

Our Story

In the past, specialist rehabilitation services have been hard to access. Community Physio was created to deliver the best, affordable care in this under-served sector, and to meet the needs of people living with a range of serious neurological and age-related conditions.

Community Physio was founded by a team of highly experienced clinicians who had left senior positions in the NHS, having worked as clinical leads in inpatient private rehabilitation units and specialist hospital trusts dedicated to neurology, neurosurgery, spinal, and pain management services.

We had experienced the limitations of only being able to treat people in clinics or hospitals, in terms of access to specialist equipment and technology. Our dream was to build a mobile service where patients would have access to both experienced physiotherapists, trained in advanced techniques, but also the latest methodology to optimise recovery in their own environment.

Community Physio was conceived from a simple idea: that home is where the most meaningful recovery happens. Today, we continue to evolve by expanding our accessible services, ensuring that every patient receives the intensive, specialised care they need without the barrier of travel.

It's a practice founded on passion. Every one of our team is committed to applying their skills and extensive experience in specialist neurological and elderly physiotherapy to combat the effects of conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, stroke, and post-operative decline.
